Our Founder and CEO, Annetta Pierson, has devoted her entire adult life to serving the needs of others, and providing compassion to people around the world. As a refugee from Liberia in 1989, she escaped the war torn country to the relative calm of the Ivory Coast. However, she would soon discover that more than 50,000 others had made the same journey. Faced with the chaos and despair of the Refugee Camps, she quickly learned how to provide the most basic human services to those around her with dignity and respect…. qualities that have remained with her ever since.
After finally being allowed to immigrate to the United States in 1999, Annetta quickly began making short-term Mission Trips back to the country of her birth. Eventually she was able to find others who shared her vision to build a school in one of the most remote and desolate villages in Liberia. This, as well as many other projects continue to this day.
To help finance her calling to this Mission, Annetta began working as a Caregiver to seniors that struggle with the desire to remain independent and live in their own homes, yet still need assistance with a variety of daily tasks. Her years of experience in the Mission fields made her an exceptional caregiver to seniors in the United States. She found work through a number of Direct-Hires as well as Franchised Home Care Corporations, but the one thing she heard most often from those she served was, “Annetta, you need to open your OWN Home Care Service, and train others with the standards that you have developed.” It was with this encouragement that Level Mountain Home Care was born.
Today with the motto, “Your Home, Our Heart, Your Way” we uphold the highest standards of integrity by providing reliable, professional and compassionate home care services throughout the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN and the surrounding 7-County Metropolitan area.
